So nice to finally have the flow Summer book in my hands and see the Paris  paperdoll that I designed in there!! It was such a nice job to make this for Flow magazine!

Homespun style...

A few days ago I bought this lovely book Homespun Style by Selina Lake, the book is filled with colourfull pictures, styling tips and inspiration.

Some time ago a blog reader send me an e-mail telling me that she saw my I love Paris Rabbit in the book and send me a scan of the picture ;-)  so when I saw the book at our favourite bookstore ( de kleine kapitein) I just had to buy it. So nice to see my I love Paris rabbit enjoing a cup of tea in the livingroom of Paris designer Fifi Mandirac!

Selina Lake just released a new book Pretty Pastel Style, in that book you can find the pretty house of Yvonne of Yvestown.

Flow magazine

You know perhaps I really like Flowmagazine, it's a Dutch magazine full of inspiration, pretty pictures, lovely stories and the best goodies. Today I heard that they will go international, in English and availible to buy online and in international shops. This is great news in itself  but even better is that when I took a look at the preview I saw some familiar faces! So cool to see that I love Paris doll and Rabbit are in this first international issue!

An interview in my favourite dutch magazine

 Yesterday I recieved a copy of the new 101-woonideeen, very exciting because this issue includes an interview with me! Five pages with pictures & interview & tutorial in my favourite dutch magazine! You can understand I'm feeling  very happy and proud to see my work in there!

Spring tutorial

I was asked by one of my favourite magazines 101-woonideeen if I would like to make a tutorial for their easter issue of course I said yes. I made this  festive spring garland with birds and feathers based on a garland I made for Mila's bird party, you can find the tutorial in the 'paasspecial' that comes with the magazine this month and also  here  and you can find an interview with me ( in dutch) on their blog.

Going to the Circus

 Not only the girls had a photoshoot for moodkids magazine but  our Roulotte was also featured in the magazine. I organised a small circus party for the girls in the Roulotte on a schoolday with popcorn, donuts and lemonade!! I reused some of the party decorations of Mila's circus party loooong ago.....

Muy Bueno

It seems to be a great month for me and my girls in the press. On saturday there was an article in the magazine of the Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia, with some pictures of the girls and Mila's japanse tape wall and my I love Paris doll as big as one page!! Welcome to the visitors from Spain and of course to the rest of you, I hope you will have a great week!!

Hello Tokyo

The last few months I was working on a project with the ladies of Driehoek and Ibuki, the project is an expo about dutch (kids)design in Japan. To bad I'm not able to visit the expo myself in Tokyo but luckily Ebony from the inspiring blog Hello Sandwich visited the expo and made some nice pictures that I could share with you. With the expo comes a zine about the dutch way of life, books and a interview and feature about the kidsparties we have organized for the girls in the last few years. It's nice to see them together like that. A tutorial for Crescer

A little while ago I was contacted by a Brasilian kids magazine Crescer asking about our kids birthday parties, they asked if they could do a little interview and publish some pictures of Sofia's Japanese party. The magazine is out now ( I haven't seen the article yet ) and the tutorial I made is published on their website here. I can't wait to see Sofia's party in print.
