Yvestown market

This sunday there will be a Yvestown market again, this time a winter version and I cannot wait till sunday.

From all the markets I have been selling this one has been my favourite by far! It's the combination of the perfect location, great products, lovely people, good organisation  and much more.....certainly worth to visit.

Lots of cool bloggers and Etsy sellers will be selling their work and there will be jummie food and creative workshops! Hope to see you there, it will be a lovely day!!

Christmas market...

The Holiday season is getting closer and closer and it's almost time to start shopping for presents. Of course you can buy your present online but even better is visiting christmas craft markets like the Mini Market in Elle Aime in Rotterdam. A tiny christmas market in her shop, if you're looking for unique and handmade (Christmas) gifts come and shop for stationery, illustrations, accessories, jewelry and  more ...

I'll be there too selling my work on 12 &13 december, see you there!!!

Wintermarket

Today we are preparing for the wintermarket tomorrow, I'm looking forward  to it, the cookies are almost ready, the garden and Roulotte cafe are tidy and decorated and the livingroom is slowly changing into a little market/shop....

I hope to see some of you tomorrow! If you are coming to Rotterdam by public transport my home is just 10 minutes walking from Central station and tomorrow is also Swanmarket XL so a extra reason to come to Rotterdam!

Yvestown Fair

  

The Yvestown Fair was so lovely, it was by far the best market I Have been for a long time! The organisation by Yvonne was perfect, the location & sunny weather gave the market a perfect backdrop for all those lovely products that where for sale.  It was so nice to spend the day in the sun with fellow bloggers and finally meeting people I only knew online. It was nice and busy and the atmosphere was so good. We ended the evening in the pretty backgarden with a long table full of Jummie salads and a BBQ. Thanks Yvonne for organizing such a lovely day!

Yvestown fair

This Saturday I'll will be at the Yvestown fair, I'm really looking forward to Saturday, so many talented and creative people together that will be so great! And of course the location, the garden of Yvonne from Yvestown, it will be nice to finally see it in real life. I hope you will find the time to visit the Fair!!

Saturday September 8 th Yvonne of the lovely and inspiring blog Yvestown is having a fair in her garden in Lommel just across the border in Belgium. I'm really looking forward to it, spending a day with these talented ladies and finally see the pretty house of Yvonne in real life ;-) I hope to see you there too!!

Plein du publique

A sunny weekend

Saturday I had a booth at a craftymarket in Rotterdam, I had a great day meeting some really nice people. I took the girls with me and they spend their whole day at the market and festival, watching dance performances, baking pizza, eating ice cream and making a really nice animation film I will post later today.

Macarons and lovely people....

Yesterday I had a booth at the Swanmarkett in Rotterdam, in the morning I had my doubts but it turned out to be a great day, about 80 stalls with food and crafts, nice music and lots of nice people ( and good sales). Mila came with me and she had te best time eating macarons and cupcakes and looking at all the great stalls.

I was lucky with my lovely neighbour Jessica and it was great meeting the ladies of House of dots and other bloggers like Michelle, Petra, Marlous, Karin en Caroline.

Brrrrr.....so cold

These are pictures of my weekend, I did two craft markets, both in Rotterdam, one outside and one inside, both very cold! Sofia joined me on sunday and sold some home baked cookies. I really enjoyed meeting the other sellers and some nice customers but was very dissapointed about the market on sunday( swanmarket), it's always difficult to know what markets will be good and there are so many factors that can make or break it.

Markets this weekend

This coming weekend will be a busy one, saturday I will have a stall at the market "Kerst op de Kaap" ( do you remember the pictures of last year? Pretty snow and very cold feet) and sunday I will have a stall at the "Swan market" a new market just a few streets from my house. I'm looking forward to the markets and hope that it will be busy, see you this weekend!!!

Gone to the Market

Saturday I had a stall at a market in Rotterdam and I had a great day, although I would loved to have sold more the day was just perfect. After a week with grey and rainy weather is was so nice to have a warm sunny day sitting and enjoying the great music (by Rupa & the April Fishes) and smelling and eating the nice food, the girls came along and enjoyed the kids activities ( the made a animated film I hope to show you sometime), what more do you need. I made some new tissueholders and cottonbags last week and also did some screenprinting so think I will update my shop later this week.

Rotterdam

The Market

Last Saturday I was at the market in Den Haag, the weather was great and the company too ( my mum, Sofia and Mila where there too), the sales went better than I hoped and I had a good time meeting some fellow bloggers like Julie ( and her sweet daughter Puck) and Petra.

Zeehelden Markt Den Haag

This saturday you can find me at the Zeehelden markt in Den Haag, a lovely market with not only crafty stalls but also lots of stalls with jummie bread, biological tea and much more. If you are in the neighbourhood come by and say hello......and you get also the chance to meet Sofia and Mila who will sell some of their crafty work as well ;-)

The craft market

Although the sales were not that great the weather and the good company ( thanks Nina) made up for it, I had a great day meeting some nice people( bloggers) and at the end of Sunday I was a very tired but a very happy girl going home with two of Nina's lovely ceramics pieces in my suitcase, I will take a picture of them when I have found a nice place for them ;-)

Yesterday I spend a day at the market in Utrecht, I was so glad that there was no rain and that I had great company, not only these ladies ( dolls) but also Nina and her sister. Althought the sales were not great at all, the company made being there totally woth it!!! Today another day at the market, hope to see you all there ;-)

I'm going to the market

This saturday & sunday you can find me at the Utrechtse fabriek with my dolls and more, I will be sharing a stall with Nina, she will bring her lovely ceramic collection so I think I will perhaps treat myself with an early birthday present.
