matryoshka or babouchka ?

Matryoshka or Babouchka, I don’t mind what the correct name of these cuties is but I love them. When I was in Paris I bought cute hair bands and clips with little matryoshka dolls and that made me thinking that I wanted to do something with them. So this is the plan a babouchka themed kids christmas party, oh I can’t wait, busy preparing a craft activity and decoration, goody bag etc…. here some pictures to get you in the mood.

My hundreds post, what to write?
There was a time that I did not know what internet could be for me, what else could it be than playing backgammon online. Oh boy what a fool I was, now I know better. When I started to read blogs, a whole new world opened to me a world full of great people, support, inspiration and lots of creativity. With the start of my blog I met great people online, I participated in several swaps and started my etsy-store. Blogging gives me the opportunity to be in contact with other creative people and get ( and give) feedback, people I would not have met otherwise. So I could go on for hours how blogging changed my life but that would be boring. I just want to say thanks to everybody who reads my blog, it means so much for me. I’m very busy at this moment finishing up some orders and start to work on a baby room for a dear friend of mine but I will try to post more often again. I’m also busy preparing a matryoshkas Christmas kids party with lots of crafty projects.

Today the kiddos had a day off, we went to the city to shop, take some pictures and afterthat we went to the movies ( waar is het paard van Sinterklaas? ...so cute...). The pictures are from the shop called Shopper here in Rotterdam where I have some of my products. The shop sells mostly trendy/cool clothes for women but also offers some gadgets/shoes/jewelry and more....see their site to find out more.

back from Paris.......taking it easy

Sunday evening I returned from my trip to Paris, I was so happy to come home to my hubbie and kiddos. It's always great to go on trips but it's even better to come home. I had a very good stay at my friends house, it was good to see them again. On friday and saturday evening I had a private sale/vernisage at Sidonies house ( un grand merci!!) together with two talented people Marine and Gaelic. It was a great sale, a good ambiance and meeting new people what more do you need. There was some time for some shopping, some magazines, some liberty and gifts( muji!!!) and of course clothes for my girls.

After my return home my body told me it had enough, I have taken some time of , no computer, no sewing or screenprinting, just tea and girl movies, hot water bottles and plenty of rest. Now I'm feeling much better, still taking it slow doing one thing at the time.
