Woonbeurs

 Friday I visited the woonbeurs together with Esther from Babyccino and Julie from Famille Summerbelle (so nice finally meeting her in real life!) Here is an impression of some of my favourites and trends I spotted.

Interior decoration inspiration

I always love visiting the woonbeurs! Not that I love everything I see there, there are a lot of things there that are not my taste but I think it's a great place to get an idea of the things that are happening in design/home decoration. What is alsways on my to see list are the 'houses' that are decorated by the leaing dutch interior magazines. This year again they decorated some reallty nice houses. The 101-woonideeen house I liked the most, so many simple, practical and affordable design ideas, something I could see in my own home. The house of Ariadne at Home was lovely, the prety shades of grey and green combined with the wood and metal worked very well. VT wonen house was not a house but a huge red Barn full of design and inspiration. I loved that the house lived, there where artist at work, there was a real barber shop and they where baking bread in the kitchen. 

Woonbeurs favourites

In my last post about the woonbeurs I like to show some pictures of my two favourite stands. I was really looking forward to visit the stand of Tas-Ka this year because they presented their new collection and I must say I really liked it! The colours and design of the new collection are very pretty, Tas-Ka shared their stand with Snurk and Keecie ( I would love to own one of their bags/wallets one day!)

The other stand that I really loved was the stand of Urlaub, the new collaboration of Kim Welling and Ellen Vesters, very creative and inspirational. Loved the drawings, painted cups and bowls, and sweet broches! I bought a little DIY kit for Sofia and Mila to make an instant comfort box, they can't wait to make it ;-)

The woonbeurs # 2

Last week when I was at the woonbeurs I was quite busy but I did managed to visit some stands and the houses of the 'home-magazines' . The houses are always my favourite and this year I liked the house of 101-woonideeen the best. I think it was because it was a house full of collections instead of only design and the colours where really pretty too!

Woonbeurs

Yesterday I spend a whole day at the Woonbeurs in Amsterdam, it was a great day that started with breakfast and a press conference and a visit to the press room with some nice goodies! The rest of the day I spend at my booth, designed by Studio Ijm to present my work & blog and to meet other bloggers and of course blog readers. I had a great day, very busy with almost no time to eat or to walk around and see the woonbeurs. I came back home full of inspiration, lots of new contacts and very tired. This week I will share some of my favourites of the woonbeurs, you can still visit the woonbeurs this whole week and meet some of the other bloggers at Design city!

 More pictures of the woonbeurs, this is the 101-woonideeen home, I really liked the concept of  two identical houses styled very diffrently. woonbeurs part 1#

 I was invited by sanoma for the blog meetup at the woonbeurs last saturday, I had such a great day meeting up with about 40 bloggers.I felt like a vip, we got a press pass, lunch, goodiebags and a drink afterwards and got to meet the editors of Vt-wonen en 101 woonideeen, These pictures above are from the vt wonen huis. I liked the colours and all the diffrent textures. Tomorrow I will share some more pictures and links to some of the bloggers I got to meet.

Tomorrow I will visit the woonbeurs in Amsterdam, I always love visiting this event and this year even more because I was invited for a blog meetup. I'm looking forward on meeting bloggers, seeing the newest interior trends and a guided tour in the houses of VT-wonen and 101- woonideeen. Some of the pictures I took in the house of 101-woonideeen magazine, the house was a big contrast with last years house ( all black and white )I really liked all the textures and the collection of boxes and old suitcases.

woonbeurs part 1#

This weekend I was at the woonbeurs, I shared a table with Jane from All the luck in the world and had a really lovely time. The 101-woonideeen house looked really nice and we had a very comfortable table with sewing machine and actually managed to get some work done in between chatting to visitors and each other ( it is so great and inspiring to talk to a fellow blogger and designer in person and I'm full of ideas and energy now ;-)
