etsy update

This weekend I managed to make some children's caps, I was planning to make these for ages but never had the time, so here are they and they are also for sale at my etsy-shop, for girls and boys. Yesterday I was lucky to have a boy-model, Louis the classmate and friend of Sofia, so I could make some pictures for etsy and my website. Here is a little preview.

Yesterday Sofia and Mila started a little project together with a their friend , 'the worm cirkus', Sofia could not stop talking about it, so she made a poster yesterday and a little book and a lot of big plans. This morning we made the decorations and did some final work, but than there was a promblem all the worms who where recruited and trained yesterday where gone, but after some digging they found some replacements ( not as well trained!!) and the show could start, here are some pictures of this festive event.

Optimist

Today Petra of Optimist blog featured Mikodesign and the talented girls of Melly & Me in her etsy-friday. Take a look at their blog and etsy-shop, I love their 'flossies'. We have already to lovley cats from melly&me in our home thanks to a great swap we did last year.

I've been blogging for more than a year now and really love it, it is so great to have contact with fellow bloggers and be inspired by their stories and crafts. After I started my etsy-shop I recieves some lovely comments and e-mails, it's great to have support in something that I love to do, thanks.

I was reading the blog of alison of six and a half stiches and read about eireann's mother, she had a massive stroke and now they are organizing a very special auction to help raise money to cover the medical expenses Eireann is now faced with. If you want to know more about the the auction you can go to One In Ten . I hope it will be a big succes.



Some more projects I have been working on, a fabric banner with my apple print, and another new print in my collection, 'leafs' an olive green cotton with a creamy coloured print, the bag closes with a magnetic button, I also made this 'wallet' to go with the bag. I love this olive-green colour, it is such a rich colour, anyway they are for sale in my etsy-shop.

Today is a very lovely day the sun is shining, my little girl is having her last day in the 'onderbouw' and is going to 'fly'to the big kids today, to celebrate this she is wearing her spanish party dress ( to see her in this dress makes me and her smile) and we made goodbye treats for her friends and teacher.

So I guess I went apple-crazy, yesterday I printed the onesies, and I liked them so I made a set to go with it, I still have some other apple-plans. Anyway these items are for sale in my etsy-shop for all those cute babies.

Almost summer holiday, monday I went to the print studio and put some new prints on my screens, apples and leafs, today I printed these onesies, I think they turned out very cute, they are size 62/68 and are available in my etsy shop. Thursday is the last time I can go to the print studio, than I have to wait untill september. I will miss the studio but it will give me some rest and time to come up with some new ideas.

Etsy give-away

So I started my etsy-shop yesterday, not many things to see yet but the beginning is there. The bag-lady

Last Friday Sofia recieved a very nice package from Paris, our friends send her this cute schoolbag from Petit Pan, Sofia just fell in love with the bag( what I totally understand), but Mila was looking a bit sad, when I asked her what the problem was, she said( of course ) that she also wanted a bag like that ( who would not), but she said, ...mummy you can make me a bag like that....and she looked at me with her big brown eyes, who could resist , so sunday morning, I started this bag and kept working on it and see here the end (almost) result. Still have to find some cute buttons to complete, so now both of the girls are happy with their new bags. Thank Maud for the bag and the bubble magazine, hope to see you soon.
