Paris

I'm so happy to see that the paris & camera ornaments are are flying to all corners of the world, sometimes I would like to jump in a package and go there too. I just finished a few more ornaments and made little sets that you can find here in my shop.

The wintermarket

Yesterday we had our wintermarket, we had a great day meeting very nice people! The girls had a lovely time and did great running the cafe in the garden selling cookies and hot chocolate. Inside they had there own shop and helped their customers ;-)

I did not have a lot of time to take pictures and the weather was a bit grey so not so many pictures to show, but if you like to get an idea about the wintermarket you can read this post by Agata (nice meeting you at last!) and Anne (nice meeting you again ;-)

Sewing in Paris

I made a few more sewing sets, this time I used my Paris fabric and made fabric buttons to go with it. Still a few dolls and rabbits to finish and dress up and then I can start on getting our house ready, cleaning up and then decorating & baking. I'm really looking forward to sunday and hope to see some of you there.

Pretty ....messy

My house is a big mess at this moment, trying to finish everything in time for our wintermarket this sunday. So many things that I still want to make. The sweet and pretty deers you see are made by Marlous from PlanetFur, we did a swap and I'm so happy with them ( actually they are for the girls but I would love to keep them ;-) After this busy week we are going to find them a perfect place to hang out!. Back to work I go!!

Packages

I love wrapping packages and I like to use materials I have laying around !! Great way to recyle!

cookies....

I made some sugar cookies last week and willbake more for the wintermarket, I use cookie cutters but also love to cut some shapes with a little knife and make same cookie scenes....and they taste good too ;-)



Sewing sets

Wouldn't these little sewing sets be a perfect gift for Sinterklaas or christmas, I'll be selling them on the wintermarket this sunday.

Wintermarket preview

So the girls have been busy again, making these funny faces, robots, cats and robots for the wintermarket this coming sunday. We will be busy preparing these week, decorating the house making garlands, baking cookies and making sure we have enough hot chocolate for everybody!! We are looking forward to sunday and hope to see some of you !!

Paris, parfume, cameras and eiffel towers

I've updated my shop with some new cameras, parfume bottles and mini eiffeltowers.

Camera's and Parfume

I had so much fun making these tiny fabric camera's and parfume bottles, they would look great as holiday decorations!!  I made a few and listed them in my etsy shop. The camera and parfume print is  part of the new doll kit.

More circus rabbits

I love making these circus rabbits and they are so happy modeling for the picture! I had a little help with the pictures today, Timmie did the final inspection......

Christmas came early this year...

 For me christmas came early this year with this lovely christmas tree made by Ingrid from Wood & wool stool. We did a swap and now I have this pretty wooden tree to decorate. I like the simple look of the tree and I had lots of fun decorating it with my new Paris ornaments! You can find the new ornaments in my etsy shop here. The girls have opened their online shop  Somimi (a combinationa of their names SO fia MI la MI losevic) to sell some of their handmade items.

wintermarket preview

 I know i have blogged already today but I could not keep this untill tomorrow!! The girls have been busy drawing and sewing and I love what they have made so far. I made a screenprint of their super cute drawings that they used to make fabric houses and ornaments. They also made drawings to make buttons and thanks of Lisa I could make them, I spend a lovely time at her shop chatting and making the buttons, thanks again Lisa!! The girls will open their online shop in a few days there you can find some of the buttons and some other small items. Special day

 Saturday my parents celebrated their 40 years of marriage!!! We went to a impressive castle 'slot Loevenstein' and had a nice dinner at Villa Augustus.

Going to the circus....or not

Yesterday I went to the screenprint studio to put my design for the  circus coat onto screen, but things didn't go as well as I wanted.....

We will have a little christmas market at our home again this year and we are already busy preparing. The girls made lots of pretty drawings that I will try to put on screen today so I can print their own fabric and they can make some pretty things to sell. As time goes so fast i did not make an official invitation but i think this drawing Sofia made is perfect. So if you like  you are very welcome to come to visit our little christmas market, we have some lovely handmade products, hot chocolate, homemade cookies and I'll be also selling coupons of pretty fabrics (silk, taft, cotton), vintage ribbons& buttons, craft books and old collections.

New clothes

 The new clothes for the dolls keep coming....not without a reason. I'm busy updating my website and adding a place where you can find patterns for the doll clothes, with some photo tutorials and tips. I'll let you know when the renewed site is online.



A sewing machine

 Last Saturday Mila went to a birthday party and I had some alone time with Sofia! We went to my workroom and made this colourfull sewing machine cover together. I had a great time working with Sofia on this project, we made the design together and Sofia did all the detailing, she used iron on velours for the numbers and some buttons and hand embroidery for  more details. We are very pleased with the result and we had a great time chatting and sewing ;-)

Crafting with Mila

 Mila had a birthday party to go to this weekend from her friend Mar. We decided  making an other sewing set only this time we worked together with an other mum & daughter who also made their part of the set and we decided on a sewing & knitting set. Mila & me made a sort of knitting needle holder decorated on the inside with a felt fox ( I used the pattern from the fox mask) and Mila decorated the outside with embroidery & iron on velours. I made a little pincushion & added some wool and thread. I hope she liked the present and will spend many hours sewing & knitting.

Combisets

 The sun was shining so a good day to make pictures for the combiset, from now on you can find the combiset in the shop, the set contains fabric to make a doll & rabbit (in red or blue ). Make one and give one away as a present or keep them both ;-) You can find them here

Buttons

It's been already a long time ago that Sofia celebrated her birthday, we had a sewing birthday party for her and of course I took lots of pictures that I planned to share but still haven't found the time to do so. Here you can see the button lollies we made as a treat for her friends. I recently made them again as a treat for the goodiebag for the DIY gifts and packaging workshop I teached at Elle Aime. They are fun to make and look so cute!
