After making Mila's doll I could not wait to make more, I have so many ideas for clothes and accesories. Today I made some doll heads and experimented with skinshades and hair colours.....now I have to get back to the sewing machine and hope to show you some finished dolls within a day or two!!

Garden apron
Sofia was invited for a birthday party, her friend is really busy with growing flowers ate the moment so we bought her some sunflowers seeds, some garden tools and made this garden apron, I did the sewing and Sofia drew a sunflower ( with the magic pen) and then did the embroidery, I like it very much and was a little bit sad to see the apron go....perhaps we have to make some more.

Macarons and more...
What is a Paris party without french food, I did lots of baking, the macarons where tricky to make and I got them right after just 5 times trying :-) I also made two lemon merigue pies, eiffeltour cookies and a strawberry pie, my sweet mum baked the delicious Tarte Tatin and helped me with the macarons, thank you so much mum!!
Talking french.....
What would a Paris party be without the french language? I wanted to do a little photoshoot during the kidsparty and came up with this idea inspired by all those pictures you see nowadays on the wedding/party blogs with the people holding the fake mouchtache.... the girls had so much fun with it and the pictures turned out really great I think!!

Making souvenirs
One of the activities of the party was to make Paris souvenirs, they made their own snowglobe with glitters and stickers ( see here for an how to make one) and they also decorated keychains with eiffel tours, ribbon and mini-macarons.
Birthday decorations & treats
Some of the decorations and treats of Mila's Paris party. The paper garland is made of a Paris map and some old Metro tickets I collected over the years. The fabric garland i made with screenprinted fabric I made with the drawings Mila, Sofia and I made in the last few weeks and I love the watercolour Sofia made with all the snowglobes....!!!

Very easy and lots of fun was making these mini macarons from polymer clay( fimo) you can find a tutorial here.

The set contains a screenprinted piece of fabric to make the doll, a description on how to make the doll and patterns to make a skirt and a coat. You can find it here in my shop.

Souvenirs de Paris (Mila's 7th birthday party)
We have to hurry with the party preparations, not so much time left untill Mila's party (20th march) we have to make the inviation this weekend and that involves taking a picture of Mila as a Parisian girl, so she needed a blue and white t-shirt. Easy to find you would think, blue and white stripes t-shirts are everywhere but not in her size....so I bought a bigger one and with some cutting and sewing we have a t-shirt size 120, one thing I can cross of the list! The girls and have been busy drawing and cutting and I plan to use those as a screenprint for some fabric to make into a birthday skirt and some decorations.
