Here it is the new room of the girls. The base of the room is white (lots of it) I choose this because of their age ( 7& 9) they are still sweet girls now but they are growing fast and will be teenagers to soon with their own taste etc.. so I wanted to start with a blank canvas, by adding lots of textile and colours I tried to soften it and give it a cozy look. Because the room is quite small and we wanted to fit in as much as possible, we build all things ourself to get the most out of the room. We used a simple IKEA bunkbed as a base together with a clothes-wardrobe we once made and intergrated two desks, a small reading bench, a play corner for Mila and bookshelves. The girls and I are really excited and happy it's finished now and can show it to you, hope you like it too.

So pretty. I wonder where the second stairs are leading to ...
Mooi, ik denk dat ze daar niet alleen slapen.

Lots of wonderful inspiration; I enjoy all the colours on a white base, looks really fresh and inviting! Have a lovely day! Lilli
I´d love to see more photos! The room looks so cozy and it has so many smart solutions (which are a true inspiration for my small work space).
Sunny greetings,
Juliane
you have done a great job !!!
I love the rooms and i am with you, that kids grow up so fast! I am planing a new room for my son, he`s 11 and he knows what he want in his room, but it`s not longer a kids room!
Have I ever said i find your blog about BYW?

This is great! And I love that you used white so the girls can re-decorate easily in the coming years. I just moved into my first apartment but I look forward to getting a house and having rooms to decorate like this!
Oh their room looks lovely Erika. Miles and Savannah share with bunk beds too. I love white with pops of colour. What lucky girls you have!
I love your style! that quilt looks darling and so snuggly.
