Doll clothes swap

 I always have so much fun making new outfits for the Paris dolls, I like to make small ensembles for different occasions and like to add cute accessories too.  Do you enjoy making doll clothes too? Would it not be fun to do a doll clothes swap!? This is how it works, you send me a mail to tell me you want to be part of the Doll clothes swap and then I will make small groups of 3-4 swappers. You'll then make 3-4 of the same  outfits and send it to your swap partners, they will do the same and then you'll end up with a lovely doll clothes wardrobe.  I will send you a mail with your swap partner adres and also will attach some doll clothes pdf patterns.

Mila 10 Years!

My sweet Mila turned 10 yesterday, I cannot believe it that I have 2 teenagers now! Friday she celebrated her birthday with her friends with a sleepover party and saturday with some friends & family. Mila had a lovely time and got spoiled with lots of lovely presents & attention. How happy and surprised she was when she opened the letterbox, it was so full she could almost not carry it by herself, thank you so much for helping me with this special surprise!! If you like to see more pictures of the party you have to wait a little for the moonrise kingdom issue of Oh Marie magazine. (june issue) There Mila's party will be featured.

Birthday party help wanted!

I have a plan.....wouldn't it be great if Mila recieved some lovely birthday postcards/letters on her birthday! ( this saturday) I  loved  recieveing birthday cards in my postbox on my Birthday. Would you like to send Mila a birthday card so that her mailbox will be filled with lots of birthday mail? If you like to help please send me and e-mail and I'll send you the info. Mila also loves sending mail so after her birthday we will make some nice Moonrise snailmails to send to you, so be sure to include your return adres!

Party preparations...

 Not so many blogposts last week but if you follow me on instagram you can see we have been very busy preparing for Mila's birthday party. Most of the invitations have been sent, the Suzy dress is ready and most of the decorations are made. Still a lot to do and make but it's great to see all our ideas come together and Mila cannot wait to start partying! Have a great week!

Birthday party planning....

It's time to start planning Mila's birthday party, actually we have started about a month ago and the ideas keep on coming. This years party theme is Moonrise kingdom, a film by Wes Anderson (maker of fantastic mr.Fox). When Mila saw the Film she loved it right away, I think it was Suzy's dress and her love for books and the camping that made her choose this theme. So now we have to make invitations, decorations and plan the activities. For me the biggest challenge is to make the Suzy dress, I have not found the right pattern jet.

Paris je t'aime

Today I restocked my Etsy shop and now all dolls, rabbits and DIY kits are avalible again. New in the shop is the combi set red, a DIY kit that contains a red rabbit and doll kit.

Workroom details

Today the sun is finally shining and I wanted to take some pictures to take advantage of the sunlight after so many grey days. Here are some details of my workroom, I bought a vintage wooden rack that's perfect to display my ever growing tape collection. My japanese sewing books ( most of the clothes I sew for the girls are from these books!) I really love them! And my wall of sweet notes that my girls made for me! Hope you all have a lovely week.

Perhaps you know this shop already, Elle Aime! The girls and I love this shop. I have mentioned it before here on my blog but recently Lisa ( the owner of Elle Aime) moved to a real shop and it's even better now. A lovely light shop filled with goodness. Every corner of the shop is filled with pretty, well selected products that Lisa loves. Here you  can find all sorts of pretty paper, cards, washi tape, craft materials, bags and much more.... In the shop you can also do  creative workshops, a great idea as a gift or a treat for yourself.
