O happy days...

Yesterday was just such a lovely sunny and happy day! The weather was so amazing, just felt like a summer day. I started my work day at Rotabs, I had a meeting with Lisa from the cute shop Elle Aime talking about a workshop we will organise together ( looking forward to that) spend some quality time with Mila eating sushi on a terasse and recieving a super big package from our friend Karen from the wunderful Misha Lulu.

 More pictures of the woonbeurs, this is the 101-woonideeen home, I really liked the concept of  two identical houses styled very diffrently. woonbeurs part 1#

 I was invited by sanoma for the blog meetup at the woonbeurs last saturday, I had such a great day meeting up with about 40 bloggers.I felt like a vip, we got a press pass, lunch, goodiebags and a drink afterwards and got to meet the editors of Vt-wonen en 101 woonideeen, These pictures above are from the vt wonen huis. I liked the colours and all the diffrent textures. Tomorrow I will share some more pictures and links to some of the bloggers I got to meet.

Free mini bunting set

For the first 10 orders in my etsy shop I have a free mini bunting set, a set of small pieces of fabrics to make your own mini bunting with the sewing machine, serger or by hand.

Flowers in my garden

Such a lovely weekend it was, on saturday I had a super day at the woonbeurs in Amsterdam and on sunday I enjoyed the sun and the flowers in our garden. For the pictures above I used Instagram, they recently updated with some new filters and a great new option to choose if you want a frame or not! Tomorrow I'll be back with more about the woonbeurs.

Tomorrow I will visit the woonbeurs in Amsterdam, I always love visiting this event and this year even more because I was invited for a blog meetup. I'm looking forward on meeting bloggers, seeing the newest interior trends and a guided tour in the houses of VT-wonen and 101- woonideeen. A cat in Paris

Yesterday I got a package I was waiting for, a start for the next step in my project I'm working on, hope to share more soon. Timmie ( our sweet cat) helped me with the final check ;-)

Count the Animals!

I'm so happy to show you this great new app by appracadabra I've seen the trailer already some time ago and could not wait to see the end result. I downloaded it yesterday and Mila and Sofia love it, what I like about this app is that it's great for young children but also very nice for big children and even grown ups. I think it's the stylish illustrations by Caroline Ellerbeck and the humour that makes this a great app. You can buy the app here and if you like to read more about appracadabra and what they are up too visted them here.

In Japan

So nice to see these pictures of my work in Japan, my work is there as part of a small dutch design expo called Coranda , sometimes I would like that I could go with my work and travel to the same places as they go ;-)

Hello again....

Here I am again...one year older ...Lots has happend in this one week. I celebrated my birthday and was spoiled with very nice and thoughtfull presents and a jummie breakfast. Our computer crashed completly so we have an other one now ( being without a computer for a whole week when you need to work is kind of frustrating!!!) We sold our bakfiets after 5 or is it 6 years of faithfull duty, i loved my bike and i will miss it! and last but not least we got a new (doll)house....I hope to find a nice space for it in my work room and use it as a display area.

red & white & black

 Ever since Sofia's sewing party I have a love for the classic colour combo red & white & black and thought it would be a nice combo to use to print some limited edition doll sets and also make some new remnant sets. If you like them be quick because there are just a few! you can find them in my etsy shop.

Parfume and cameras

So my computer is still acting up and I think it's time for a new one, in the meantime my man managed to fix it a little bit so I can get certain things done. I've been busy with a big project and these parfume bottles and cameras are just a little part of it.I hope to share some more info soon. Hoping you will have a great weekend. By the way I have restocked the etsy shop with some red dotted dolls and some new mix & match sets!!

A princess headband tutorial

Some time ago I was asked to make a fun and easy project for a princess party for a kids party photo shoot for the dutch kids magazine Kek Mama after some thinking I thought it could be fun to make a princess headband based on a fairy headband I made for Mila some years ago. It's a fun and easy project ( I made the one for Mila during breakfast). To see the whole tutorial you can go here. Our weekend

                          

Finally we had some sun here during the weekend, so we spend a lot of time outside visiting the opening of Mini Mall in Rotterdam, the world harbour days and on sunday the swanmarket. I really liked these big red balloons so pretty with the blue sky...

Moo

There is not so much to blog these days, I'm spending my days behind the computer mostly and not so much behind my sewing machine. A little while ago I ordered some (free) moo-cards via etsy and they arrived yesterday, what I like about moo is that you can have diffrent pictures on all your cards, so you don't have to choose just one.
