I'm working on a little extra to add to the I love Paris doll kit and thought a little camera would be great to take pictures of all the pretty Paris Monuments. I have a little space left on my fabric for an extra to add to the kit. What do you think a Paris girl cannot live without, what shoul I add?? By the way I printed the doll in red and I like it, I will list some in the shop very soon.
Mila had a birthday party to go to this weekend and said her friend would like to have a sewing box, we went into town to find a nice box and ended up buying this wooden tea box. We decided on a blue and purple theme and made some items to go in the box. For the outside we used a drawing Mila made as a sjabloon, I think it turned out pretty cute!! 
It seems to be a great month for me and my girls in the press. On saturday there was an article in the magazine of the Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia, with some pictures of the girls and Mila's japanse tape wall and my I love Paris doll as big as one page!! Welcome to the visitors from Spain and of course to the rest of you, I hope you will have a great week!! 
I'm such a proud mom, Sofia's picture is on the cover of At Home Kinderen and inside you can find a really nice picture of my two girls with an interview about being creative and their crafty ideas and projects. I really love the pictures, styling and the interview and it's great to see the girls shine with proud with big smiles on their faces seeing themselves in the magazine.
Saturday I had a booth at a craftymarket in Rotterdam, I had a great day meeting some really nice people. I took the girls with me and they spend their whole day at the market and festival, watching dance performances, baking pizza, eating ice cream and making a really nice animation film I will post later today. 
Today I spend my day going through my fabrics and making some new remnant sets, these sets are really great to use for all sort of craft projects, I have seen some lovely pictures of what some of you made using these!! If you used some of my fabrics to make something I love to see pictures of the finished projectand perhaps share here on my blog!! 
Before going on holiday we had this idea of making lots of watercolour paintings....well we managed to make just a few, instead the girls made a diary (almost finished) of all the places we visited and I baked some jummie cakes for the picnics....
Holiday is over, the kids started school again and now it's time for me to start work again. I really enjoyed my holiday and being offline felt pretty good too. We spend two weeks in this lovely little house very near Saumur, such a great house with a lovely big garden with our own cave...including our own bats, surrounded by beautifull nature and lots of pretty castles. I hope you all enjoyed your holidays, I will slowly start blogging again and opend my etsy shop again.
