Saturday we visited my favourite secondhand store and I was lucky to find some really nice vintage teatowels for my small but growing collection. Today I'm planning to cut some ( yes really....I know it's difficult for me too) and make them into cushions for Sofia and Mila's room, they really like the ones with the animals of Australia.
hee hee, that is so funny. I once had the same idea to use teatowels for cushion covers...and I thought about it this morning as I folded the very same tea towels. Maybe I should look for some vintage American teatowels instead of the Australian ones that ended up in the kitchen. I am sure yours will be super!
What a brilliant idea to use vintage tea towels. Isn't it funny I probably received some similar tea towels from my mother-in-law many years ago and probably gave them to the charity shop! Wish I had kept them. I think making them into cushions for the girls room is a wonderful idea. By the way where did you find the Australian Tea towels?

What a lucky find!!! I love the pink one. They will look great in the girls room.
I have just done the same thing. And yes it was difficult to cut them, but I LOVE the results!
