We have been working a lot here in our house the kidsroom & our bedroom like you see in the picture are gone. Sofia and Mila have grown a lot and needed new and bigger beds so we did a room swap, they are now in our old bedroom and we are sleeping in their forrest room ( feels like sleeping in a shabby hotelrrom ;-) I painted their new room white and they got a ikea bunkbed, now we have to start to decorate, make desks etc...still a lot to do!

We are not only busy with the room swap but also busy finding a good house-swap for the summer holiday, we have been doing this for the last few years and really love this way of Holiday, but this year we are not so lucky to find a swap partner and the holiday is getting closer......We would love to go to France this year but are open to other places in Europe, we are looking for a house that is comfortable for a family (with children room and toysand perhaps a garden or balcony) in a intresting area, we love culture, sea, nature.... if you are intrested you can take a look here and here and leave a comment or send a mail.

Hi Erika, we are not living in France but in Flensburg / North Germany, directly to the Danish border and the sea. In wish area do you live in the Netherlands and wish time you plan. Best wishes Wiebke
Ik vind de roze accenten echt geweldig !!! :D
What a nice blog - I love La Roulotte<3
I love the Japanese doll in her kimono! Did you make it? It's beautiful. I just did a post on my blog Lucy Patterson: HANDS-ON about some vintage kimono Matryoshka dolls that I made, and then I looked on your blog and saw that gorgeous doll. Love it!
Good luck with your house-swap hunting. Lucy : )
Good luck withh both swaps. I'm sure you will make it all beautiful. We live in Australia so maybe too far for you? xx
That sounds great! We are soon moving from our tiny cottage in Southern Sweden to a house in a sunny Scanian forest, surrounded by deer, blueberries and mushrooms, with a huge garden and stone henges. Without children room so far, but family friendly (both now as in the new house) with lovely toys and a chocolate-resistand sofa. Plus there will be a big studio in the barn (I know, you are out for vacation, but maybe you would like to try my Pfaff ;-) So maybe that would be an idea for next year... We would love to come to the Netherlands to get a fresh breeze and some inspiration!
It's a pity as we are still renovating our house in france and are really interested in trying out a home swap. We have a very big garden with lots of lovely olive trees, a big house and live in the South of France, 20 mins from one of the nicest beaches and 30 mins from Montpellier and Nîmes...Maybe next year?
Hey Erika!
If you have holidays from the 28 th. june until the 18th july - we could swap... :-)
It is in DK close to the German border and close to the ocean. We live in the middle of our town in green surroundings 5 mins by bike to the center and you can go to a lot of nice sights here...
