I love sewing and I love it when children are intrested in sewing and crafts so when Sofia's friend had her birthday party I knew what we would give her. I bought a small carton suitcase and an embroidery hoop. We made a little pincushion and a needle-book from felt with a little heart embroidery made by Sofia, added some fabric and small sewing supplies. I love how it turned out and think that it's a perfect gift for a 10 year old!!

So great! I have made something similiar two weeks ago as a custom order for a 11 year old girl, but with a doll inclued. Didn´t have the time yet to show pictures on my blog, but I will drop you an email. I totally agree that these kind of sewing kits are a perfect gift for girls to start crocheting and sewing!
