Tiny Happy

I really like the blog and flickr of Melissa of Tiny Happy, she make such lovely embroideries and pictures it just makes you happy to look at, but I needed more that one look and treated myself with this sweet 'Fern Purse' from her Etsy shop.

Sister love and Bling Bling

We spend the whole day yesterday making lots of items to sell at the 'Queensday market' this thursday, redesigning necklaces, hats, bags and more..... but first they had to try them all.........

I screenprinted these onesies and made some matching bags for a little baby boy....

Market day

I went to market today to buy fabric for a coat I want to make for myself but ended up buying lovely fruits, flowers and fabrics for more summer dresses.........not that I mind to much, but I still need that fabric for my coat!!

Homemade Happiness

Yesterday I was drinking tea with Caroline and she told me about the new web-shop she started with Diana. Homemade Happiness is a website where you can find very cute 'print it your self ' party items and decorations like paper party banners, invitations, games and much more....I really like the illustrations and the fact that you don't have to leave the house for fun party decoration!! Go and take a look.

Important stuff.........

I should have been doing other "more important " things but I could not help myself, yesterday I spend some time making some summer clothes for the girls, I'm very happy how they turned out and so are the girl, now all we need is sun........

Not Pink

Yesterday I went to a fabric market in Rotterdam hoping to find lots of nice fabrics but sadly there was only one stall that was nice enough to have a good look at. I finaly found some nice fabrics in between all the pink, over sweet piles of fabric ( don't understand me wrong, I do like pink but only certain pinks and in the right dosis and combination;-) The fabrics are all cotton and very soft and flowy, I can't wait to start to sew the new summer clothes for Sofia and Mila....

Sunny days

I hope you all enjoy your easter holiday, we had some lovely days with sunny weather, lots of flowers, working in the garden and in the smallest room of the house ( I retiled the toilet), the birthday of my man and lots of easter chocolate mmmm....

The sunday spring market

Some pictures of the Sunday Spring Market, it was a lovely market with over 80 stalls, with all kind of crafty things, food and entertainment. I was so happy the weather was good and I had a good spot. It was really great to meet some friends and bloggers ( vuurvlindertje, Leililaloo, Studio van San and Siepsfabriek).
