New colours

I'm back from my blog break with plenty of fresh ideas, colours and more importly a new best friend, my new Canon camera, hope to bring you plenty of pretty pictures! The new colours will be in the shop tomorrow!

A little blog break

So I decided that a little blog break is needed, there are so many things going on that need my time, I have to make a start for the holiday season and and I still haven't been able to replace our stolen camera. Does anybody have tips for a good camera?

Also I need to work on my website is still not finished and that really bugs me. I won't be away too long, a week or so and I hope to show you plenty of great project of all work finished and more....ciao ...

Today I've been playing around with some drawings to try to give my blog a new look , I'm not totally happy with it yet. I guess it is a work in progress......

1) What were you doing 10 years ago?: I was living in Delft with my boyfriend, in his student
room. I was studying Monumental textile arts at the Royal School of arts in den Haag and
working in the weekends in a great Traiteur Brasserie the Nineties, now known as the
Bakkerswinkel.

2) What are the 5 things on your to do list today?:( it is now evening soI will make a list for
tomorrow): 1. bring the kids to school
2. need to finish some sewing.
3. make some work related calls ( and e-mails)
4. prepare for thursday's meeting at the printer....
5. take the girls to there swimming lessons.
6...................etc....there are so many more things on my list ...


3) snacks you enjoy: I really like sushi, I don't know if you can call that a snack?

4) places you have lived: I lived in Zoetermeer, Amsterdam, Den Haag, a castle near Paris, a
boat that went from Holland to Germany and Poland, Delft and now I live in Rotterdam but
would not mind moving to Amsterdam or Paris!


5) what are 5 things you would do if you were a Billionaire?: wow....lets think...
1. Go to take a nice holiday with my family to Cuba or Japan or perhaps both of them.
2. Move to Amsterdam, a nice house with a garden and a nice studio place.
3. invest some money in my company, I have plenty ideas what to do with that money....
4. Take care of myfriends and family....
5. Try to help young people with great ideas to set up there own company, I know how
difficult it is with not so much money to spend.

presents and cake.....

After a whole week of secrets trips to the shops with daddy, hiding presents and lots of whispered conversations yeterday finially arrived,.......my birthday! The girls made ( together with daddy ) a wunderful breakfast with warm bagels, creamcheese, salmon and fresh orange juice. They made some great drawings for me and treated me with plenty of presents. In the evening we had some family over for a simple meal, drinks and of course some birthday cake. It was a great day and I know today will also be because we have plenty of left-overs so no cooking tonight!!!

Blog Meeting Amsterdam

I'm so excited, this friday I will go to Amsterdam to the blog meeting in the Kroon Holly from Decor8 blog, some of the other bloggers who will be there : Danielle, Emma, Sia, Nina, Pia and Yvonne.

Although I have already met some bloggers in real life this will be my first blog meeting and I'm looking forward to meet some fellow bloggers! Hope to see you all there as well!!!
