Sur le pont d'avignon........

I will be on Holiday the next two weeks or so, no blogging just relaxing and having fun. I hope to come back rested and full of energy and ideas, this is where we will spend our next two weeks, Avignon. ( took the photo from flickr)

Yesterday we had a fun day out with opa & oma, we went to Utrecht to go to Dick Bruna house, the girls loved it and so did we!

Provence here we come........

First of all, thank you all for your sweet comments about the break-in it helps me a lot to hear your kind words. This saturday we will leave for our holiday to the Provence, to Avignon, we are doing a house swap ( I love swapping!) with a lovely family from Avignon. I'm looking forward to our holiday. I hope to see lots of flowers and sun and eat jummie french food, If any of you have some tips on what to see or do please let me know! Tomorrow we will go to utrecht to the Dick Bruna museum! my mum will lend me her camera so I can take some pictures again!!

no camera......

Hi, this is me on the bike taken with my mobile phone( in the winter). I have no pictures to show you for a least a few days because someone thought it was a nice idea to break in to our home and steal our stuff, my photocamera, video-recorder, laptop,mp3 etc...

I can not describe how I feel, someone was in our house un-invited, been trough our drawers, our clothes......I must say the police have been wunderfull, they came within 30 min, and we got a new lock this same evening. Luckily we are all fine and there was no damage, only a mess. Hope to be back soon with pretty pictures and happy stories!

Button pushpins

I saw this great idea in a magazine. Use buttons to make these cute pushpins. Just choose some nice buttons and glue them with a gluegun to some plain push pins et voila .....you made some great and decorative pins, great he!

'garden bike'

Today I bought some new plants for our garden, I was tempted to leave the plants in the 'bakfiets' !

I decided to close my 'other' shop, but of course I will first have a big Sale! All items are already reduced in price,come and find some nice fabric or buttons here..... The shop will close on the 22th, so be quick!

Lots of rain today...

Last weekend my man bought me some very nice summer shoes and we worked in the garden to make it ready for nice summer days/evenings, and than it started to rain, no sitting in the garden with my new shoes.....I should have bought myself boots like Mila.......hope the weather will be better soon!

Birds and Stars

Just one week to go before summer holiday, lost of things to do before we can leave to the South of France. Today I made some new screenprints, one with some drawings made by Sofia, Mila and my man (he did the drawing of the names of the girls, I think I will use them for some cushions).
