Hurray for Home Exchange

We exchanged house this summer holiday with a lovely family from the Provence, we love this way of holiday for several reasons. You don't have to pack a lot of stuff, it is almost like being home away from home. The girls love to have a childrens room filled with lots of fun ( boy) toys to explore, they loved the box with dress up clothes and didn't mind the lack of girly stuff.

That is so cool! I have never heard of that... anyone want to come to LA? Well, we are 40 minutes east of there.

Indeed, home exchange is a great vacation alternative, especially, if traveling with kids.
I have done many swaps with my family. The most unusual one was in a restored medieval tower in Tuscany. I wrote about it on my blog (very bottom) http://www.jewettstreet.com/jsblog.html
I have become such an enthousiastic home exchanger that I started my own home exchange club www.JewettStreet.com, recently. On the website you find lots of information about home exchange.
