Last saturday I had my last market of the year, Kerst op de Kaap. The market was great with a really good atmosphere, nice people, christmas carols, fire baskets ( much needed), gluhwein and snow.....it was minus 7 and my feet where sooo cold...it took me a few hours to get warm again when I got home. Beside my cold feet it was a really good market and was so nice to meet some friends and fellow bloggers like Puk , Dianne, Marijke, Ine , Michelle, Saskia and Floortje ( thanks floortje for the pictures!!)
I did a little magazine swap with Mette a little while ago and she included this lovely tissueholder( bottom picture). I have seen these around the blogs I read and even saw some tutorials but never made one. Since I got mine I take it evererywhere and love it. Yesterday I decided to try to make some for some friends and also some to take to market this saturday and must tell you it is addictive, I already made more than 10 and want to make many more, so I guess I will put some in the shop pretty soon.
Packages, who doesn't love them! Swaps, gifts or something you bought online it's like a little party in a box. On top you see a package from Oly, I ordered some little things in her shop just because everything looked so lovely I could not resist and I have no regrets at all, the packaging is a gift in it self and everything is so full of detail, I can't wait to find a nice place for my new goodies. An other package I recently recieved was this little hedgehog from Eva from Apple& Eve, she made it using some of my own screenprinted fabrics and I think he is soo cute!! I hope you are all fine and busy preparing for christmas, I'm happy that we are all feeling better ( Mila and I had the flu last week) and I can finish our bathroom (tiling, tiling and more tiling) and some christmas orders.
A bit of a hectic week, saturday evening I got sick with a stomach flu and had to take some time off, I'm busy catching up with e-mails, orders and such. Mila got sick yesterday to make things more complicated ;-) she is doing much better now!! One of the things I still had to finish where these mushrooms for the christmas ornament swap. I'm really happy with the result and feel sad to let them go......that is all for now, I hope to update my etsy shop tomorrow and announce some special christmas offers.
The girls did a great job last sunday at the wintermarket, they where so sweet and happy, they had lots of fun selling their handmade items, limonade and cookies together with their friends. At the end of the day their shop was almost sold out and their pockets full of small money . For all of you informing about the sweet little animals Sofia has created, they all found a happy home but I'm very happy to tell you that she loved making them so much and actually could not stop making, so there will be some availible soon....

Hi I'm back again, took some time off to tidy up and have a rest after a very nice, cozy and succesful wintermarket last sunday. I almost forgot to take pictures and just managed to take some before the first people came through the door. I had a really nice day chatting, selling, serving cookies( I baked 100!!) and Gluhwein. So nice to meet old friends, bloggers and even got a visitor all the way from Australia ( so nice meeting you Julie!!) Tomorrow some more pictures of the girls and their market adventures.....
