The girls have grown so much during the summer and need lots of new clothes. I made this coat for Mila yesterday, we ( Mila & I ) are very happy with the result, the fabric is her favourite colour and very soft, for the inside I used fabric that I bought in the seconhand store. It was the first time I made a coat like that and it was so much easier than I thought it would be ;-) It also didn't take that much time, one evening. I choose for sew-on snap buttons to make it easy for Mila and me ( I cannot make nice button-holes !!)
I'm so proud of my two girls, look what they made, all these lovely drawings ( 22 in total) that I laminated and made into bookmarks, they had a small part of my stall last Saturday at the market and I can tell you they are all sold out, the girls where really good sellers!! ( there where two older women looking at my screenprinted t-shirts and they said they liked them but that they had no children or grandchildren to give them to, then Sofia said : but you do read books, don't you ? than you can buy some of our bookmarks and yes the ladies bought two ;-)
This saturday you can find me at the Zeehelden markt in Den Haag, a lovely market with not only crafty stalls but also lots of stalls with jummie bread, biological tea and much more. If you are in the neighbourhood come by and say hello......and you get also the chance to meet Sofia and Mila who will sell some of their crafty work as well ;-)
I really like organizing birthday parties as you perhaps have noticed when you are a regular reader but one birthday party that I really like to forget about it is my own. Lucky for me I have two sweet girls and a man who did not forget, they were up early and I got spoiled with my favourite breakfast, bagels with salmon and creamcheese, lots of lovely present, flowers and lots of kisses, what better way to spend my birthday.
I have been printing and selling these underwear sets already a while now and still like them very much , but sadly I had to decide to stop printing them because the shop where I bought the sets replaced it with an other set that I didn't like that much. So I decided to stop selling them and to clear up the last stock. I made 8 diffrent sets you can see (and buy ) them here in my shop
The ladies all seven of them are availible in my Etsy shop and they would love to travel to faraway places ;-) I also made them some winter-coats with scarfs. I also take custom doll orders or can make extra clothing sets, and yes I also do wholesale....
Although the sales were not that great the weather and the good company ( thanks Nina) made up for it, I had a great day meeting some nice people( bloggers) and at the end of Sunday I was a very tired but a very happy girl going home with two of Nina's lovely ceramics pieces in my suitcase, I will take a picture of them when I have found a nice place for them ;-)+++if you still want to enter for the doll contest be quick, I decided to close the contest tonight and announce a winner tomorrow++++
This saturday & sunday you can find me at the Utrechtse fabriek with my dolls and more, I will be sharing a stall with Nina, she will bring her lovely ceramic collection so I think I will perhaps treat myself with an early birthday present.
