...not so pretty yet...

I guess I won’t be blogging a lot these last days of the year, we are busy putting in a new kitchen, here is what it looks like now, I hope we will finish it soon, it will be a plain white and shiny kitchen, with some colour in the tiles. I’m looking forward to show you the results.

I’m also working on a baby room for a friend of mine she will have a little baby girl in the beginning of 2008, I have so much fun working on this project, there will be plenty to show and tell in January.

In the new year I will put some of my own screen printed fabrics and cushion covers for sale in my etsy shop.

Mila asked me to make her a babushka set so how could I say no, I will also make some for my etsy shop this week.

Yesterday I finished a little girls bedroom, I made her a little house with green grass and flowers and butterflies flying around.

Today was a great day, we had a kids babushka christmas party in gallery kunstwerk Spangen, this was a try out party because we want to offer birthday parties and kids workshops in the gallery, so we could take pictures etc.. for the website.
I had so much fun preparing this party, I made babushka screen prints for goodie bags and stickers and also made some badges. The party itself was great, lovely children, they did such a good job as you can see on the pictures, they where so busy that they did not notice the cookies on the table……

Christmas crafting

Sometimes you just have to do some crafting for yourself or your own home even if there are many orders waiting to be finished. Surfing the net I found plenty good idea’s for an advent calendar, the one of Hop Skip and Jump was my favourite so I started to make my own, it took a little more time than I thought it would , I just put it up Yesterday, but anyway I’m happy to have taken the time and the girls are enjoying the little surprises hidden within.

I'm in the middle of planning the Babushka christmas party for Sofia and Mila, I'm really having lots of fun, today I worked on the invitations, I used one of my screenprints, cut it out and coloured it with these bright colours.
